Well, I have been emailing this guy who tells me he is from New Church VA and his mom is in London, sister in Switzerland. He is currently in Nigeria on business supplying oil to Africa and the UK. Says his name is Jake Sidwell and his wife was in a fatal car accident 5 yrs ago. Been shacting from a christian dating service for one week and he is wanting me to send him a watch to this address:

It is 100% scam, he is not coming for Christmas. Do not send him anything. Please go to www.scamwarners.com and have a look around. You will see many examples of what you have described.

I feel silly even typing here but I really thought this guy was ligit. He just sent me 2 poems that were love poems to me. Asked me to send him something personal that I wear. He wanted pictures of my family and of my dog. So far I have sent him a pic of my parents, nephew, and dog, and of course myself. Wants me to get my web cam out tomorrow after church. How do I catch him at his job? |

Which he ripped off from somewhere on the internet. Try punching them into Google to see where else they come up.

You obviously thought something might not be right about him or you wouldn't have searched and found this place. Better to feel a little silly for a few minutes now than to get caught up with one (or a group) of these scammers.
Don't worry about trying to catch him at his job, he has personal info on you. You should just drop all contact with him. If he calls, don't answer, if he emails, don't even read it, just delete.

Write back to him from another e-mail address. He will tell you the same things that he wrote you before. Its scam. |

What is his email address? PM me if you want. I will check it out for you and tell you what I think.
In the mean time, send him NOTHING!!! I am 99.99999% sure this is a scam! |

I am glad you have found us before sending any money, everything you have described is exactly how romance scammers work.
I notice you have already found your way to Scamwarners which is a great first step to protecting yourself from these vermin.
If you haven't already done so, take a look in the romance secton of Scamwarners and in particular this thread http://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3607 which should help you to see that he is a scammer.
The members at Scamwarners would be happy to work with you to make sure your scammer has his details recorded on the site to help act as a warning to others and prevent some others from being scammed.
Please DO NOT create a new email address and contact him yourself, with your help I am sure we can prove he is a scammer without putting yourself at any risk.
