If you were to somehow find yourself aboard a luxury yacht, you could schedule to meet him at a desolate Red Sea village, so long as it has an internet cafe.

Edit to add: He can "actualise the transaction" with you during a luxury cruise back to Cairo.

If I recall Egypt, in the days or Rameses, got their gold from 'Nubia', so is Nick's lad to be paid in gold?

Nope. One hat per lad, per journey. But, if he happens to ever get home again, the hat and miles stop. Later, if he decides to make another journey from home, that's a second hat. Now if you have co-baiters, and one baiter gets the lad from point A to B, but they are not involved in the bait from another leg B to C, they can claim A to B, not not necssarily the total of A to C.
