Is there anything wrong with scambaiting via reverse?

I.E. If I were to respond to a scammer (who is a purported clergy member) that I would like to meet him because of the new American plan passed by congress known as the Obama Reparations And Loan program (ORAL).

Essentially stating that money would be distributed by the clergy (Because the governments have been known to be corrupt).

I figured this would be a good way to get a pic...

Any ethical dillemmas?

Oh, I just thought that enticing them with money or something else could put you into the same category as them if someone were to track you for legal purposes.

I am still pretty new.

I am getting into this a lot more now.. This gets more fun as I have more conversations with the Lads.

Of the couple of Lads I am running now, I am at an impasse with one.. I keep asking for stuff, he does not deliver and keeps asking me to send it western union... At least I am wasting some of his time.

Oh dear lordy no... We promise them the world. We'd promise them as much imaginary money we can think up. The difference between what we do and what scammers do is vast. We never make anything out of it. Nothing financial anyway.

We use whatever we can to entice them into our little web of illusion. We do have ethics and guidelines on acceptable scambaiting. We can only advise.

As long as you aren't sending them money or vice versa, I see nothing wrong. Perhaps you can convince one to wander into the desert, thinking he's going to find his fortune there. I see no ethical dilemma.

What we're doing isn't really fraud since we're not lifting anything off them.

Part of the script is that I am from the D3partment of R3parations. And I will be traveling to Western Africa to find clergy to distribute loans and grants. I figured I could ask to meet him, but would obviously need to know what he looks like.

What if all the representatives who were going to distribute the ORAL money had to be tatooed for accountability purposes?

The easy part is coming up with the idea. Getting it to work is going to be the fun part.

I am just happy I got some certificates today... easy stuff and old news to you veterans, but this is really fun stuff for a newb... Learned a couple new tricks today about how to get them watermarked and more importantly, how to post them. I am only on one other message board and it is nothing like this one!
