I don't quite understand the appeal, but I recall several members professing interest in dealing with a genuine female 419 scammer. Well, this one has been confirmed via telephone.

Not to burst your bubble, Nick, but she may be the wife, sister, or girlfriend of the lad who's writing the emails. She's still an accomplice, though, and deserves tender attention from baiters.

Burst my bubble? Like I said, I don't care. I've encountered several threads here, though, where members are on the prowl - so to speak - for ladettes. I'm just providin'.

As for her "accomplice" status, she makes all of the phone calls, and she discusses all of the "business" (no one over her shoulder, quick responses, etc). That being said, what makes her any different to a regular lad? Is she really doing less? Do I care? Should anyone care? Criminals are criminals.

Back off everyone, let it come back up. And if someone signed her up for spam, thanks a bunch. That's one more scammer that's free to open a new account and steal money from real victims. (Not necessarily someone here though, several other anti-scam sites have it.)

Well not immediately, no. I figured that all the newbies would be trying that, so I'd straight-bait for a while first. Wink

The other nice thing about a ladette, is it lets me include a little romance in the scam without either of us having to cross gender, and therefore I can use the phone if necessary.
