One of the great things about my washing machine is the filter is accessible at the front, making it easy to get coins, toys, fluff etc out

I dont think its too noisy but then again its sited in what used to be the scullery

Just had to check. My Miele spins at 1450 RPM, and hasn't taken off yet. I guess you're safe, PF. Never could be arsed to look at the spinning wash though.

Come to think: Might be the dryer on top of it that's holding it to the ground ..

I have the Duet series like PF. One of my kids was home doing laundry before I had a chance to explain how much - rather little, HE (high efficiency) concentrated detergent to use. He used 4 times the amount and well... you get the picture :yikes:

Finally. I don't need to be afraid of my secret shame. I love appliances. They look so neat and clean in the store. If I could fit, I would sleep in my Whirlpool washing machine.

I love DVD players, and microwaves. All silver and shiny. I think I was a dragon in a past life. Hording shiny things...

Right now I'm trying to replace the element in my Westinghouse fan forced oven. It died when I accidentally started a fire in the grill. What does it mean when you dream about appliances?

^ how to win friends and influence people, Eater Ladies against nutty rodents is now on the warpath.

I've got a top loader clothes/floor washer. The fun of mopping the floor on a regular basis.....
Not to mention how exciting it is to change the drive belt on an integrated machine.
Oh, and it's a twin speed, 650/1000.

Runnin full out Maytag Neptunes (matched set). I wish the dryer door would lock like the washer though, damn shoes keep banging it open from time to time.

@PF - Did the Viking execs even look at the film from the Jets season last year? I've heard of cash for clunkers but never thought it would apply to an NFL Quarterback!! We'll see how he does against the 3-4 defense Very Happy
