I saw it (it was good fun)
I was surprised, but I suspect that they were more a label for a character type, if it had been set in the states it could have been the mafia or what have you, from what I understand the "prawns" were meant to represent how people in south africa see immigrant groups such as Nigerians and Zimbabwians. |

Yes, but in the States we would label the group the "mafia", not the "Italians". |

Saw it opening night and thought it was brilliant.
I was a little surprised at the behavior of the Nigerians, but what could you expect from a poor population forced to live with another much more mysterious population? |
