When Lads find their dollar chopped, or are told that the business is in the hands of another, you expect them to fight hard to keep their magas. But some either give up easily, or don't try at all. You get something like this:

I kinda wonder if dollar chopping ever actually happens outside of baiting circles. Or rather, since our dollar chops are executed by baiters, I wonder if it happens at all.

Well, wouldn't it happening actually mend and enforce the broken trust between the victim and the original lad. I mean, I'd imagine they'd have one of those he-was-right-after-all-and-did-everything-he-could-to-help-me moments.

^^^^ That's the guyman choping the dollar of the victim.

But I think it does go on. There's no honour between thieves; if they think they can get away with it without meeting a big man in a dark ally, then they'll take all the money they can. That's mainly of this sort of course - pushing into a deal and stealing the maga either through a fortuitous email or cutting their colleague out of a deal by warning the victim against them. The sort that hack emails and intercept at WU would be very rare if not for baiters.
