To me "warm beer" means the refrigerator is broken.And I saw nothing in there about the health benefits of beef jerky and Slim Jims.

And, women are less likely to seek medical assistance when experiencing sypmtoms of a heart attack. Many women still consider heart attacks "a man problem".

That's why they are encouraged to seek medical attention and to be aware of other symptoms.

My cousin had a heart attack without even knowing it.
She just thought she was "run down"
It was picked up on a health check

There are studies that say something is good for you, and there are studies that say the very same thing is bad for you. Depends on who funded the study.

If you dig deep enough, you could probably find enough studies to "prove" that everything you eat, or drink, or breathe, or touch causes cancer. Wink

Before even reaching your post, I was thinking of posting something similar.

Countless times in the newspaper, they say red wine is good for you, it prevents cancer. 6 months later, a new study reveals red wine GIVES you cancer.

Same with coffee. With chocolate. So contradictory. I eat whatever the hell I like, and if it means croaking it 5 years before the slimfast, gym going, prune eating vegetarian, I can at least say I died happy.

I suspect that if going to the gym thrice a week, every week of your life, from say age 20 to 50, and we will go with an assumed figure that it will add 5 years to your life, I bet all those gym sessions will actually total that 5 years that gets tacked on the end.

^^@craig - I saw a study that said exactly that (about the time gained equalling the time spent in the gym). I don't care if it's not true, I'm quoting that one to all and sundry.
