I am posting here for the last time until I finish boot camp. I am sad to say this brief good bye. I will miss the post whoring thread, the insult thread, and just the general benevolence of everyone involved.
It just really sucked this morning to look at my wife and daughter this morning for the last time until I become "Army Strong." I leave for Syracuse at 5:30pm, overnight at a hotel, then leave sometime on the 12th of August. I haven't flown in a long time and I'm a little nervous...
I will miss you all. If you want to contact me, PM devguy for my contact details. He'll have them in a few weeks once I am settled in Missouri.

Take care - Basic isn't that bad, it's mostly just an adjustment. Think of it as an extended sports camp, only with little sleep, angry screaming coaching staff and rifles. |
