So, How are you guys. I don't quiete understand why are you doing it if your own gowernment do f...g nothing. You have $0,000.00 on it and waste your poor time (like my Eng). You can only fool 15yo children with your tales and fake numbers - every pro scammer could play with 100 like you a day. WHY THE F... ARE YOU STILL IN IT??
Same time rebaiters like you make money scamming scammers and have about 20gran a month. And they are really wellprepared pros.
I'm just trying to say that your sport is some kind of chess for blind and armless.

Firstly, you claim to be the enemy, so does that mean you admit that you have scammed someone out of money using a format?
Answering your question.
I don't know the percentage. We all do this for various reasons. Some people have been scammed, others do it because of our sense of justice. Some of us have had friends or family members scammed by these criminals. Quite a few people do it because there is nothing more fun than screwing with their business. Some people do it just to get insulted. The only common element is that we all hate scammers and the lives they destroy, so we fight back, and very effectively. This forum is filled with the lovely things we do to make scammers suffer, and believe me they have. |

Personally, I do it out of my own sense of justice, the thought that I'm helping to protect the vulnerable people in our society, and also from the little buzz you get from outwitting someone who makes their living from outwitting people. A friend of mine put it pretty well- "it's like playing pranks on people, except the people deserve it, so it doesn't make you a dickhead". I'm paraphrasing. 
As many have already said, if discussions are civil then I'm sure you will be welcome here.

I feel an empathy, an understanding that draws me to you 419ephacca, but then I have enjoyed that warm gooey feeling of having been responsible for putting some scammers behind bars, but I admit that they were witless specimens.
Hang about and you can enjoy listening to our phone calls with our adversaries. I did one over several months where I impersonated a Russian model and my scammer fell deeply in love with me.
We love our work and it brings us much merriment and satisfaction.
