Captain Mal seems to have fallen into the hands of another scammer and the real Lads aren't happy!

It began with this line tucked away at the end of a message:

I've cc'd Mr Wilson about this. I forwarded your first message but he hasn't replied yet.

Confusion followed:

What exactly are you talking about... and who is this Wilson you are talking about? And what is your relationship with him. Because you are confuse and you need some to tell you that you are dealing with a transaction worth over US$9.4M united state dollars which you chose to receive your fund through a courier diplomatic home service delivery ON 23-07-09. ...So you have to be careful to avoid involve impostors in this transaction.

The date, BTW, was nearly a week past when he wrote!

Mal wasn't impressed:

As it is your so-called courier delivery is a week late! I'm glad that Mr Wilson agreed to a proper transfer because you clearly don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.

Then all of a sudden another J3ffr3y W1ls0n was on the case, urging Mal to send money ($2800).

This is to bring to your notice that the board of directors of this bank have concluded with the final endorsement regarding your contract payment which is now in our telex wire electronic voucher transfer, and the transfer has been delayed because your account is not accepting the wire transfer because your account is not yet activated to carry out the transfer.
Meanwhile, you are required to transfer $2,800 for the re-activation transfer cost of your account to enable the wire status completed in the next 48hours.

Mal's response:

I then write to the Banker Lad and the real J3ffr3y W1ls0n:

Then the Banker Lad gets this - with some familiar insults!

The Banker Lad isn't pleased:

He tries to act like nothing's happened when writing to Mal, but the fake J3ffr3y W1ls0n is anxious:

you are advice to make the payment as instructed and stop arguing with this office because your account have never received $5m before and it cannot accept the huge amount of $7.5m so you are advice to send the $2800 for your account re-activation as instructed and get back to me with the reference numbers.

I bet this from the real J3ffr3y won't help their mood:

I sent this to my newly appointed bank manager, the previous one was sacked because she didn't notice her email account had been hacked Rolling Eyes

I just love a good chop-chop, and a well-pissed off and freaked out lad. Starts my day out right. Very Happy

The best bank chop is when the bank details are modified in an email from the lad and we ask him to verify the bank details. He indignantly declares that we should try again. All this takes about the time to kill an account.

After again saying "Nope didn't work" after retrying, I once got 6 messages in 11 minutes telling me that there had been a mistake. "He noticed"

"Lads in full panic mode - priceless"
