True. My Uganda (?) lad has claimed he was trying for 8 hours to send me / us (multiple characters Wink

) a mail but the connection went off all the time Smile

Ah, I wondered why Barack Obama had gone quiet on me. The cable outage must have effected the White House as well as Western Africa, it's the only plausible explanation.

I was just about to transfer $650 to one of my pets in a Dakar refugee camp but she hasn't written back to me in 2 days, and this cable outage is probably the reason. Hopefully

To be honest checking the email, I just happened to mention it as as suggestion for materials on a church building project so quite why thats a valid excuse you'd have to ask the lad heh heh

My character is flying out to Lagos for a 2 week stay at S1mbas safari camp next monday.

I won't get a safari out of my lad but he is expecting me to travel to Benin to see him.

Maybe I can use this lack of internet in nigeria as an excuse not to email him from the camp.
