That was Brian Hay speaking, apparently the only police officer in Australia who cares about online fraud.
He says that the standard investment scams are on the decline, but relationship scams are taking up the slack.
He is now setting up a website fraud reporting scheme, and has previously collaborated with Western Union to develop a fraud prevention early-warning system that indicates when money is sent to high-risk countries.
