Thats why i hate those scammers. They laugh at the misfortunes of others . I just wanna show you this.

I think the "UN compensation scam" is pretty old. I have plenty of them in my catcher account.

As Captain Mal I baited Senegalese scammers who were offering

Quote:

to pay 150 West Africa 419 scam victims 960,000:00 USD (Nine Hundred & sixty thousand United State Dollars)each. You are listed and approved for this payment as one of the beneficiaries to be paid this amount as compensation.

This bit made the bait even more compelling (emphasis added):

Many Banks, Universal firms, Companies and individuals have been in bankruptcy today due to the activities of these hoodlums. However, a thorough investigation have revealed that these people have dropped over 500,000 victims across the world, after collecting their money falsely, many as a result of this have committed suicide, while others are now living in abject poverty.

They wanted to cause more harm! It was a pleasure to bait them.

I would suggest playing someone who has lost a lot of money to scammers. You're broke and scared, and this offer of compensation is a godsend to you.

Yet you are angry and suspicious.

This gives you the opportunity to blow hot and cold with the scammers - to jump at certain things they say and to back off at other times. Especially you are wary of sending "fees" by Western Union or Moneygram. After all, that's how you lost all that money int the first place. Very Happy

the last one of these I responded to I claimed I'd been a victim of an orphanage scam and could they help me get my kids back, for once they must have read my reply and I didn't hear from them again Crying or Very sad

It's not new, but it is one of the cruelest modalities around.

The reasoning behind it is that if someone has "fallen mugu" once, they're very much likely to fall for it again. And how better to do it than to tell them you can get their money back. Grr.. Evil or Very Mad
