Hi Everyone,
Last night I went to see Dean Cameron's Nigerian Spam Scam Scam two
man play. He dramatizes a correspondence he had with a lad acting
as Mrs. Mariam Abacha back in 2003. The show was about an hour
and was very funny and well received. Dean has done about 150
performances over the years of this show. Has anyone else seen it?
I do recommend it. One things is for sure, back in 2003,
this guy did not bait safe. He used his real name and was
found out by the lad when he created a web site detailing
his correspondence.

Actually,
Dean sent the lad some ticket stubs and
all the positive reviews the show had received.

I went to the same show on Friday night, as I was in town anyway. I enjoyed the show. Both did very good at their dramatizations. It was interesting as he read through the correspondences, for example, it was apparent when the lad became hooked, among other things. Smile

Hey Akai Ryu,
The show made me laugh a lot. I felt like I was very inside
the joke as a baiter myself and could feel the mugu getting
hooked on his end and enjoy the baiter playing the lad.
I want to read the original correspondence to see how much
is exact and what has been dramatized. The actual phone call
with the lad calling out for Mr. Snickers was priceless.

I was at the show also. I have some pictures from it to upload when I get home. Was a great show.

Spurious I am surprised you didn't see me, I was wearing a 419 Eater shirt. Dean saw my shirt and we talked a bit. He is from the same state as me.

After talking to him he was baiting a lot safer than it sounded in the show.

Wow, sorry I missed you. As it so happens, a buddy of mine
was a VIP and we sat in the front row. I did not stay for the act
after Dean. I too spoke to Dean a bit and may speak with him
again when I'm in LA. Baiting is so inherently suited for theater,
don't you think?

Lol, I was on the front row, right side facing the stage. We were right next to each other.
