It falls to me to book a honneymoon, Have any of you been to trinidad and tobago? If so what is it like? Any tips? I believe my employer is the only operator in the area (kerrrr-ching on discount), So tell me what is it like? |

Well, if you're considering that area, I can fully reccomend you taking a peek at other Caribbean destinations - in particular Barbados. Absolutely spectacular, and so much to do.
I can give you the contact of a pilot I know out there, for a couple of lessons/sightseeing tours (He operates a C172) and there are jet-skis, boat trips, nightlife, or at the North of the island, really calm non-tourist ridden spots, if that's what you're after.
I'll show you some photos on Skype. I can say best holiday ever was there 
I've practically been round all the Caribbean, so if there's anywhere else if Barbados doesn't tickle your fancy, buzz me  |

Aruba is BEAUTIFUL! Disregard the advice to avoid it. My wife and I went a few years ago. We never had a bad meal, the people are wonderful, and the prices are very reasonable.
If you go to Aruba, just remember to take the bus. Taxis are VERY expensive. But you can cross the island on the bus for (when we went) $1. A taxi ride was around $20 1 way.
If you get off the beaten path you can get very good prices on bottled water/food. The highlight of the trip was a candle lit dinner at a wonderful resturant on the beach!
The only caveat to Aruba is the diving was sub-par. Of all the places I have gone SCUBA with the wife (Aruba, Cancun, Cozumel, Hawaii, Grand Caymens, Puerta Vallarta) it was the least memorable. The water temp is excellent, but the sea life isn't as varied as other areas.
Snorkeling is good though. As is para-sailing, jet boat rentals and other water activities.
Lots of little lizards running around!
