Volcanoes one of the most dangerous thing on earth, despite this its amazing how many times we build houses right up to them.

If you look on google earth you can see the 4 lakes that fill its crater, its in germany and theres the town of Zaisersweiher built on top of it.
An extinct volcano is one that has not erupted for 10,000 years or more and is not expected to erupt in comparable time again.
Cept they got it wrong...

Its not even dormant - its inactive. The four mini lakes are the only clue that its even there. (and give you an idea just how big that thing actually is, if the lakes are its outer edge, on google earth you can see there on the left side of it, the whole area is one big monsterous volcano.)
It probably wont erupt in our lifetime, but i wouldnt buy a house or live there. |
