I just received a letter from The Gallery Hotel in London. I was chosen as a possible candidate for employment. They’re going to pay for the trip to London and put me up for one month. They didn’t ask for a resume, references or anything, they’re just going to bring me to the UK.

All I have to do is pay a processing fee and provide them with a bunch of personal information.

They listed their educational requirements –

Quote:

MASTER DEGREE
HIGH SCHOOL GRADE
VOC/TECH SCHOOL
SOME COLLEGE
COLLEGE GRADE
SOME POST GRADE
DIPLOMA
POST GRADE DEGREE

They also made it clear they're not going to mess around with anybody wanting to do anything funny...

I guess this is a more or less typical job scam (no expert on those, and a reasonable amount of alcohol may have clouded my judgement)

The Gallery Hotel in London is always in need of profund well educated personell, and same with other Hotels too.

A search for a typical sentence from the mail shows e.g. Google:

in my Browser.
So if one is looking for a 'job', he can choose from nearly all big hotel-chains around the globe.

Resultados ? - use a mexican proxy and you learn (spanish ?) on the fly.

Jack, I can meet you in London if you want, I have been offered a job house-sitting for a family who are off to Kenya for a few months Very Happy

"I am Jack Marvin an African but present living in London with my family where am currently looking for a house sitter since me and my family will be traveling to Africa(Kenya) our home country for some time that is for about 4-6months depending on our arrangement with the house sitter.

First of all I am looking for somebody that loves animals, second they would need to love nature as well.

I want responsibility and respect for my animals and my house, quiet people that like to stay home a good part of the time, that like some gardening and relaxing in a hammock under the palm trees.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter?

-feeding the cats twice a day
-feeding the dogs twice a day
-some simple cooking for their food
-give some pills to some of them (very easy because I mix it with food)
-give water to the garden every day if it has not been raining
-some gardening
-keeping the house clean

What if you are already in the UK and in a hotel, so you don't need to send them any money

This kinda scam normally resolves around getting travel/immigration related fees out of the victims. Lad is targeting non UK reisdents. Chances are if you tell the lad you're already in the UK, he'll ignore you or try a completely different scam.

When I had a lad saying I can rent his scottish house and I needed to contact the travel agent, I said I was in the UK and he went on to the We need a deposit sent to yourself line

Lads will smell the money and keep going on and on till they milk you dry

Work Experience

Financial Experience –
I worked for a family owned financial organization and assisted in the consolidation, collection and advice for individuals who allowed themselves to become delayed in payments received.

Casino Experience –
I worked as a contract person who pointed out flaws in the overall operations of the casino by giving them proof of problems in mechanical payouts as they may overrun. I also assisted others in the changing the outcome of probability of same payouts.

Hotel Experience –
I managed individuals who conducted business from hotels. This included finding and managing the individuals as well as assisting in the procurement of payment from the clients.

Agriculture Import/Export –
Worked directly with individuals in the process of importing agriculture products from other countries for the distribution of said products in the United States. This included finding new markets as well as working to find solutions for competitors in the same field.

Educational Media –
I have experience in the production of educational media including medical and domestic discipline. This included instructions on how to discipline between husband/wife, sorority members and babysitters/mothers. I also worked producing medical media which explained the importance of checking for specific types of cancer and how they can lead to other horrible conditions. They included nurses performing the exam on the patients and how the exam itself was important and memorable.

I GOT THE JOB OF CASINO MANAGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He replied saying I was more than qualified for several positions but more qualified for Casino Manager. I guess whatever agency oversees casinos in the UK doesn’t have a problem with casinos hiring slot cheats.

Or pimps, loan-sharks, drug smugglers and porno producers either….

I’m going to send him the money via the 'get-the-mtcn' thing I learned on this site.
