No. As I see it, a scammer assumes the identity of some RL money guys...in the same way that a charity scammer would say he works for the whatever organization and that they would really appreciate direct donations via the quick Western Union method...
EDIT This number is a free redirector. I bet my Friday shirt that it does NOT lead directly to the UK. |

The Shore Capital Group and the website is genuine (set up in 1996). And no part of the scam of course.
West African I think, from the phrasing.
A wonderful email! Especially the suggestion that there are widespread problems claiming lettery wins, contract payments, etc. A dolla chop basically.

I got a letter from them. I quickly Googled the National Lottery in the UK and found an instant win game. I sent a message saying I won £90,000 and I haven’t claimed it yet because I want legal representation and also, I want to keep the winnings from relatives.
So hopefully they think I’ve got a winning ticket that hasn’t been claimed. I’m hoping they’re going to ask that I send it to them then get somebody there in the UK to send them something “fun”….. |
