Hello.
Just wondered if any of you have sent a few bucks to get the lad "hooked".
He "knows" that you pay and maybe will go very far to document his needs for future fees and compensation.

I imagine that those who have been bated a few times early can tell if he is on another round.

I often send them a token of my good faith (laptop, rolex etc)

strangely it never seems to get there.....

Don't invest more than the lad.

Don't send any money.

Don't think hard.

Don't edit pictures to send to lads.

You can keep a lad hooked by just sending him a few words in an email. Look around. All these trophies are the result of just that -

A few lines of text in an email.

I thought about sending a scammer something like $1.84. It would cost over $10.00 to do it so I decided against it. Also, I didn’t want him to have any information on me, like sender name and what city and all that.

Even if it didn't cost so much to send it, you don't want your money to buy them the extra 15 minutes of cafe time that results in a real victim...

That works wonders. There are a few "approved" shipping companies around here that can assist.

Don't send the bastards a penny. There are literally thousands of examples on this forum of baiters that have achieved great things, using emails only.

Goodness me! Don't even think of giving them exactly what they want.

As the Pastor said, many people (including myself Embarassed

) have managed to get lads to safari, e.t.c without sending a penny.

You can always *cough* send *cough* some money by MoneyGram (better than WU as it requires an actual trip to the office, no online checker), then when he whines that it was invalid/whatever argue that you checked at MG and it was picked up in Lagos, Nigeria shortly before he went to collect it...nothing wrong with spreading fear and doubt and paranoia in ladland.

I "send" money all the time. Thousands of dollars!

I have "sent" a computer (kudos to Oxygen Deprived for his Parcel Direct service, now retired).

Never send anything, other than text.

The pen is mightier than the sword, and the keyboard, along with promises of riches, is mightier than the dollar bill. A phone conversation works huge wonders. An old mobile phone, with a simcard that can't be traced back to you or anyone else, is a great baiter tool. Let him pay for the calls, though. Whenever you try to ring him, there's some problem with the connection.

What a coincidence. I was just about to ask this same question.

My lad has been sending some very curt E-Mails asking for the MTCN of the $2000 USD (originally 850 GBP) courier fee. I dunno what he wants; it should have all been in the "scan" I sent.
