Yes.. We'll also know who's to blame if the mods get upset because people start nesting quotes instead of just using ^<text> to respond to the post above them or @<username>: <text> to respond to a poster further up and only quote stuff when it's really necessary. (Note: the quote in my post is absolutely necessary for making my point)

point taken, edited the post. But this is the first forum i've used that has actualy used that (i'm not really that much of a forum only site user, so if its common, i wouldn't know), so the initial post was my automatic way of replying, obviously i'll avoid it in future

PS: sorry to have used my undoubtable power to unintentionally drag this thread of topic so quickly Embarassed

^^^ They enforce good quoting etiquitte here.

They are strict with your cutting out all the irrlevant parts of a qote, which is what you normally see on a 'good' quote in another forum, but the ^^^ thing is relatively uncommon. I use a LOT of forums, and almost never see ^^^ get used. But I like it and it makes a lot of sense and keeps things clean.

As for the topic, they might post-date it so it appears at the top of your e-mail inbox. For the longest time, my Yahoo spam account had a ton of mail from 2038. But they have since become wise and date it according to the time actually recieved by their mail servers now.

I have had a couple of those. I figured it may be a lad's attempt to make sure his email is at the top of the inboxes he's bombed, by changing the date on the cafe computer, in case other mugu no tek e advises for go keep off oooooooo. Laughing
