The sammer IP lookup tracked to a university in Boston MA -the address ends in .edu
How should I handle this??? |

It's quite likely that the lad has phished the .edu addy. They like to use official looking email addresses in the initial scam. Can you find the contact details for the university's IT dept for reporting email abuse? Send the original message with full headers.
There is a very remote possiblity that the lad is a student but it really is very unlikely. |

I doubt very much the sammer is a student since the IP from the original sender is in the UK, and the email attached to the email is from the US. I am more concerend that they hijacked this poor student's email address since google maps directed me to the campus. |

You could also PM the emails and headers to a mod or the support team on scamwarners. |

It is highly likely that this was a phished email account. Few, if any college students would be dumb enough to send out scam emails from an email account that could be directly traced back to them.
If you don't mind posting up the format that was used, I can probably confirm this for you. |

I've had those in my personal mail
I looked up the college and reported it to them
I don't normally shut down lads email accounts but i felt there may be a chance they'd investigate.
As said before probably phished account |
