Lately, I've tried responding to several scammer's e-mails and have been getting returned e-mail. Are Yahoo and G-mail weeding these accounts out much faster these days?

It happens. That's why most lads will use one account to mass-mail, and give you an alternate email address to write back to.

Sometimes it's the provider that shuts them down, other times it's someone who's annoyed at all the spam.

This is a perfect example of why we don't shut down lad email accounts though.

While "disappointing" I wouldn't worry about it. Sadly there's plenty to still grab from in the surplus forum.

I've been mildly annoyed lately, because I've had several lads' addresses get shut down between my first reply and my second reply.

I think Hotmail just did a lad sweep, because out of a large list of very fresh laddresses, nearly all of the live.com ones bounced, while nearly all of the others succeeded.
