Well, times have changed since I was last doing this. I seeded an email address yesterday and was almost instantly plagued by the blighters.
I'm dealing with three - or was - one of them has actually told me to go away. I'm sure this wasn't part of the game plan!
He did the typical, "I've found someone with the same surname as you" opening ploy. I replied that it wasn't my surname. He clearly took no notice of that and sent me Template Number Two.
I responded that it still wasn't my surname and provided him with what I was using. He then decided that the original surname was now the first name and mine was what he meant all along.
I got a bit carried away with my response.
"Adams! You found out about Adams! We all wondered what had become of
him. It was in 2007, he simply vanished. Like an old oak table. Well I
never, this is most surprising. Goodness me, I must phone my cousin
about this as she'll be overjoyed. What a sly old bean, stashing all
that money.
I do hope you realise that he didn't come by it by MORAL PURPOSES. He
was a terrible Heathen and we disowned him back in 1987 after it
transpired that he'd been trafficking drugs inside Polish orphans. He
should have gone to prison for it but he managed to escape the
authorities. How very strange that you should know of him.
I'm a God Fearing man and I really don't know that I should take part
in any of these proceedings. I wouldn't want to risk the wrath of The
Lord. I just don't know.
What do you think I should do? I'm terribly flummoxed now."
To which I woke up to the disappointing email of ...
"Thank you for your message since you are not the person am looking for don't reply."
Gutted. I replied anyway, told him I was sending a heron to mess up his pots and pans. Silence ever since.
Happily my other two are playing along nicely.  |

Welcome back!
I've been doing this off on and for over five years now. My only regret about my baiting career was that I did not get involved with the Eater sooner. |

The Eater (I assume we're speaking of the owner as well as the site) used to give me tips back in the old days, he even linked to my old site. The domain name lapsed, though, and I haven't got round to getting a new one although the site still remains - sat on some old hosting. Maybe I'll update it soon. |
