i have been asked to send bank detials to a scammer

one of the 2 current scammers i am working on has set me up with a form to send to proclaim mysemf next of kin to some person . bank detials are a large part of this form . is it safe and ethical just to make up and name sorting code and account information.

not sure what your setup is but make him explain every section of the form at great length and go off the radar for a day or two at a time. when youre finally clear on what youre supposed to be doing, go through a prolonged battle with the printer, scanner, smudged ink, corrupted image file etc.

make the bastard work for nothing and dont sending any coherent information.

BTW, most lads don't give 2 rat's asses for the info. They just figure only a serious person will provide. Don't give them too hard a time too early as they will drop you for someone more cooperative.

They are not going to send YOU money, so a real bank account # isn't as important as showing that you "trust" them enough to share private info.

Just make up a bank, and routing/checkng #. What you want is the same from them, and then you kill their account.

To answer your question of whether or not it's "ethical" to send phony bank info. It is perfectly fine to do so. Very Happy

I believe your standard Bank of America account number has 9-digits. Make sure you send him 12-digits. Wink

The scammer only wants that info so he can write it on a form to try and appear "official".

thanks i sent back a reply saying the attachment did'nt come through properly but i think i will fill it in with bullshit then i can say the bank was effected by bad loan problems . this scammer did'nt notice i forgot to attach my picture aftetr telling him in a mail i had attached it . i also got a passport picture off him without asking for it !

Don't get too tied up in the early details. It's like fishing. He is just lightly tugging on the line, as are you. You want to be cooperative now, so he thinks he has a "catch" on the line. Then as things go on, the wheels slowly fall off the fun bus for them.

99% chance he isn't even reading your emails. Just for fun, change the "Subject" on your emails evertime you respond. They hate it because they use a script and it messes up the order of your responses.

Change it to "Money at the Bank", or better yet "Transfer in Progress"

it drives them nuts.

Later, you can instruct them it needs to change after every email "for security". Make it like something rediculus and change it every time, but don't respond unless they do it correctly.
