very short baits - how short?

i have just sent 90 asems, with the intention of steering lads to s3cur1ty sh1eld

they won't all reply, but if 50% do that will be a lot of baits.
and they are on top of all the other (more convoluted) baits i am doing.

so i am wondering how quickly i can get these new baits to first base.
i am hoping it should only take 3-4 exchanges - am i over-optimistic?

From what i have read on this site i think you would be lucky if you get above 5-10% returned. Any more than that and you have a very efficient ASEM that the lads are dialed into.. Good Hunting

if you dont allow any discussions about 'the weather' and ìf 'more than a handful is wasted', going straight for the target, yes you could move some in quick time.
but, with the % of responses, - don't expect to much. it depends on the quality of your adress-material, the hook-line of your proposal, the sweetnes of your voice, the weather, the moon...

well, the good news is i am not being swamped by replies.
the bad news is that i am not being swamped by replies either.

40% were undelivered, even though all scam letters were 3 days old or fresher.
10% have replied so far, and it looks like i can propose sec-shield on the 2nd or 3rd email
i assume the other 50% are still active so hopefully i will get more replies
