this thread is the evil twin of the 'what are you listening to' thread

i heard an article about earworms on tv today, and i mentioned having an earworm in a post a couple of weeks ago
(for those who don't know, an earworm is a tune that you can't get out of your head no matter how hard you try)
like 'ymca' by 'village people' (oops, sorry for mentioning that - it will go away soon)

anyway, my question is this...
what is the most recent earworm you caught?

i have an odd one , and an odd song in my head ! last night i heard janis joplin singing a song called lord won;t you buy me a mercedes benz . i have been singing it to myself all day today . thankfully it is not crap and i actually like it !

I sing in a community chorus. We are currently rehearsing songs from movies for our spring concert. Some of these are real oldies, but very much earworm material.

Nine to Five
Inchworm

The list goes on. Basically, the earworm is whatever song we rehearse last - it's with me when I go to bed, and it wakes me up in the morning.

Given my very eclectic tastes in music,it could span many decades(Frumpy88 would approve).What is ticking me of right now,is a have a song from the 40s stuck on endless loop in my head,but only when I am close to sleep.During the day,I can't think of it.

my god i did'nt know that . i am not a million miles away fomr the uk and never had a problem apart fomr clips being removed due to copyright infringment , none of my own thanks be to god .

I think it's because of copyright stuff that it gets blocked but some get through, seems to be hit and miss
