And just tell him you weren't able to open the attachment. He must send the content in an email in plain text. I always seem to have problems opening attachments from lads. I use Linux and require them to convert attachments to all kinds of god-forsaken file formats. |

My favorite is telling them it has to be lzma compatible signed with a certified GPG key.
Normally, they just respond with plain text after that.. throws them off script.  |

To answer your first question ( ), it landed in your inbox because the scammers cleverly worded things so the spam filter didn't recognize it as spam. You can tighten the spam filter, I'm sure. |

I have gotten a few, just report it as spam and you won't see much more of those scams. |
