With the increase in members logging onto the site I would like to do a quick non scientific poll in terms of the forum speed.... Please vote or comment on your findings. Especially over the last 24 hours

It dies at times, usually lightening fast but at the minute it is very slow Sad

and I keep getting phpbb database errors

It was slow (when the DB was still running that is) .. At the moment is performing well.

It was terrible for me yesterday and I lost some hair do to pulling it out.

It's ok, I will just look weird for a while and it will grow back soon I hope.

My pet snail was faster than Eater yesterday. Hope this helps. Very Happy

However at the moment, it is working great.

Same here, at the moment it is fine, but last night it was very slow and died totally around midnight (BST).

As it's regarding the past 24 hours, I voted smoke signals.
There were long periods last night where I just couldn't connect to the forum at all. I could get to the main site OK but got timed out every time I tried to go for the Index or through a back door.

FYI, I'm in Europe, so our connections time are really not the same...
If it happened during "my" night, I probably noticed nothing...

Today I have no complaints at all (well! ok! maybe some minor medical ones).
Eater Forums are better than normal so I will vote lightening fast.

I voted on how it was yesterday, and earlier today when it was back to normal, so I voted with "normal - not to fast not to slow".

It was lagging a fair bit at times yesterday and them the forum crashed, but now it's lightning fast compared to how fast it normally is, which is usually pretty quick to load pages.

As of today the forums should be noticeably quicker even with the added load

Whatever you did, it seems to be working normally today.

Yesterday, however, was a different story. I assumed it was the sudden influx of visitors that overloaded something or other.

Yesterday, I cleaned the yard and dug up the house. Everytime I came to eater, I had to hit the.......................... Very Happy

And from the eigth post in this thread I'll have to let Irish know that the patent pending, Acme "SOOI-matic" rodent filter needs a tweak for full effectiveness.

My experience (not that it matters since I am waaaay over here where the sun goes down) is the same as Scam Patroller. I guess that makes me special (since I consider SP "Big Brother"). Thanks for keeping the lights burning and the keel even Rover!

@ Old#7, we were trying to keep the rodent barrier quiet, till we had it working fulltime.

@ Rover, given my satelitte, copper wire, 3 pin plug, and a tin can with #8 fencing wire hookup, I can't tell if it is at my end or yours.

Yesterday was noticeable for logons, phbb errors though
