With the various articles going around about scambaiting it looks as though quite a bit of traffic has come our way.

Last night Eater broke its former 2004 record.

I love being an Eater member and I have found some of the best people here with the biggest hearts.

They care enough about others to give their time for free trying to fight internet crime.

I think Eater and our members are awesome and I think the work we are doing is paying off. One paranoid freaked out lad at a time. Very Happy

i assume that the 2004 record had something to do with the site being up around then, and maybe a famous bait made headlines due to the novelty.
so i am surprised that the media hasn't picked up on other great baits since then.

what caused the record to be broken? i didn't see any media coverage in my bit of the world.

and does this site do anything to actively publicise itself?

If I remember right the previous record was due to digg or something similar. Any particular reason this time, or just my shear awesomeness.

The article has been "digged" 1111 times, I think.
