the "you are bluffing" and "I won my dear Angel", makes me think he has no faith in me. Having said that he has send Western Onion payment details to my email address (using a different name to the one he is talking to me under). Is he a badger?

Not sure how I am going to deal with him now. Any ideas - he's clearly done this before.

I know we shouldn't teach the lads how to be better at it, so should I query the change of name on the WU transfer info?

I am thinking that I will pass the email onto my solicitor to deal with who is then going to request some money laundering forms are filled in.

He is actually making me quite angry (I know I shouldn't), but he is annoying me at the way he can be quite so rude and still expect me to send him 500 big ones!!! He needs to be really really nice to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just start playing with his mind a bit Cathy.

Tell him that he inspired you to read through the Bible a little bit and you came upon the chapter where Jesus says to go out and "feed the hungry".

Or you could tell him that his laughing at you doesn't sound very "humble" as the Bible clearly tells the followers of Christ to be.

You will send him money as soon as he displays some semblance of humility to you.

A written apology to God for his insolent behavior will suffice.

lol blah - they are estate assets - hence the need for me to involve my solicitor (at least I managed to think ahead on one thing!)

Am really like the humility angle. Will google some quotes on being humble before god. And make him apologise. Profusely. Before I get the bumbling (and ever so slightly crooked) solicitor involved.

@Cathy2008 There is lots of things you can do to control him.

-You are a proper lady and act truly insulted.

-You have meetings with your solictor by appointment. If everything is not in order they will have to wait for the next meeting to put it on the agenda.

-Your solictor forbits you to use western union as not reliable not to mention the rif-raf around the office the bad area of town that the WU office is in. You refuse to soil your seal skin coat in such a place.

Cammy, my female baiter persona, doesn't take well to male authority figures as they remind her of her father - and the use of Christian texts wouldn't work on her either.

Then again she resents being patronised so politeness can backfire too if it's overdone.

I simply tell them I'm older than they are (my character is in her 50s, and the lads usually say they're in their 20s or 30s), and I know more than they do and I know it better.

Demanding that I give them a gift is certainly not the way to get a gift from me. My kids learned that early, and now my grandchildren are learning that lesson, too.

Lads can't run guilt trips on me either. Wink

One thing, I don't know if he picked it up or what, but I have never seen a lad use "puter" as a nickname for a computer. I have seen it used by locals though (US).

Well we have a suitably contrite email from him now. Still he asks me to send him £100 today! Cheeky so and so. Unfortunately, I am going to be delayed at work (gives me time to set up a solicitors name and address and find some "Anti Money Laundering Forms".
