Nurse Nasty: thank you for explaining and for the link about this day. I never truly understood what it was about. the link was fascinating. I worked with Aussie troops in the RVN in the 60's and thought that they were fabulous and fantastic troops with a high level of professionalism. as said before---LEST WE FORGET!!!

Thanks lady - In N.Z. it was marred a little by a group of students trying to protest - they were saying that ANZAC rememberence promotes war - to me it's about respect - there were many old fellers there who wont be at the next... and they have to put up with that!
