There are very few city names that are not duplicated in another state, province, or country. (I grew up in one that is unique but has some sound-alike "sisters.")

Dallas GA is a suburb of Atlanta. Several people that work at my office live there. Supposedly, according to a trivia contest on an Atlanta radio station, there is only one city name found in all 50 states and that is Greenville. Don't know if that is true. Speaking of the Simpsons, Springfield is in almost every state. Even though I have lived all my life but for 2 years in Georgia, I spent my first Christmas, at 9 months old in Springfield Illinois where my dad was in the Air Force. /yawn/

There is an Intercourse,Pa not too far from here.From what I understand,the sign is constantly being stolen.Not that I would associate with such people of course,but I remember someone where I went to college having one in the basement.

Around the Herefordshire area there's some interesting geography: Offa's Dyke and Lord Hereford's Nob. Worcester has a street called Hornyold road, and in Bucknell, shropshire, there's a small village rather charmingly called New Invention. There are lots of place names in Britain with much, much dirtier names Very Happy
