This is just a question,but I´ve been thinking it for a while.
There was some accusing emails against one of the member,
that he is a scammer.(From outsider)
I know these members which are in here are honest,but there is nothing to stop lads coming to visit these pages,easy to find and get to know how
baiters are working.

unless you direct member applications to be controled by the mods there is not a lot you can do . just keep vigilant .

We love when scammers join. It only takes about 2 posts to determine who they are. If they just lurk, most of them aren't intelligent enough to actually do anything with the posts on Eater, so it's not really going to do much damage.

I don't have the vast experience of others, but I'd say:

1. Wouldn't it be great if scammers thought that everybody who asked questions was a baiter: including genuine victims?

and:

2. Wouldn't it be great if they spent their expensive internet time reading forums instead of locating victims?

and, also:

3. Lunatics, axe-touting murderers, and your very cross ex-partner may also be lurking under a user name on any forum. So bear that in mind when you post.

Sometimes lads google on their scams, find them reported here or Scamwarners, and join in order to try and discredit the scam report. Three recent examples.

i suspect that lads have better things to do than hang around here.
time spent reading these forums will not generate any income.

and having seen their unique approach to grammar and spelling, i think they could not hide their identities if they posted anything here.

and it would not surprise me if the mods check all new registrations with an IP in africa and eastern europe.

Another deterrent is the large amount of text in here. The forums are full of baiters just talking their head off about the juicy things they have in plan for the lads. None of these plans are anything about getting the guy at the other end send cash back.

They may read the forums, but as a guide to extracting money from the victims the modalities we post around here do not help any.

Now, if the scammers were expecting pretty pictures then that would be a bit different ...
