I remember staying up in scotland once (Up near Aberdeen) doing a delivery for a big bottle gas company, Plan was I drive up on the Monday, and come back a week later on the monday, give me a bit of a break and wait for the bottles to come back from customer to go back to Manchester. I was taken out by the some workers from this site, taken into a pub, I sadly don't remember the next 5 days. (All I remember was knocking back some good whisky)

Im not trying to be nasty towards scots you guys are polite and nice especially a girl on Glasgow central station Wink

The reason we have the 2nd of January off is simple, It is scientific fact that Scotsmen can drink twice as much as an Englishman therefore the new year parties last much longer. Plus it is almost impossible to get to work on the 2nd as Edinburgh's streets are blocked with pissed sassenachs lying in the gutters.........
