Hmmmmmm, so u fucks are having fun tricking little African kids eh? Well I hate to break it to you. I'm not here to tow along. I'm here to defend the scammers and present a different perspective. I am not a scammer and I dont support scamming but I think some of the baiting that is done here is unethical sometimes downright racist.

I am basically here to play the devil's advocate.

Well, if you adjust the tone a bit (I don't really like being called fucker) you are welcome as far as I'm concerned. But before you start making your statements please read some of the ethics thread that have already been made.

Also, I don't really see how our baiting is racist. If you're going to make that statement please provide examples, just stating it isn't going to win us over.

ETA: To answer the first question in your post: "Yeah, we're having fun, lots of it actually... But not baiting african kids, we're baiting criminals who have chosen to scam innocent people out of their money."

I personally don't ask the scamming scumbags what race or colour they are, so I don't see how I can be racist.

I'll happily bait them whether they are black, white, green - it doesn't matter to me.

Most of the victims are greedy Europeans who intend to collaborate in duping african governments. I dont sympathise with them when they rather get scammed

Now, I have a few questions for you to answer, and maybe a form or two, but for now this should ascertain your seriousness.

Have you ever:

A) Worn some sort of fruit on your head and posed in a photograph
B) Built a towering monument from bags filled with sand
C) Do you have any strange tattoos with odd phrases
D) Stood in a picture holding a sign
E) Been to Cameroon to collect money
F) Heard of Atlantis, and or traveled recently to be part of it's reconstruction

I would have to agree with you there. Anyone who thinks that they are profiting by stealing is no good in my book. But I am sure that you are aware that many of the people that we mess with have different types of scams, that do not involve stealing, right? Like the "work from home" scams. Or the guys that are selling non-existant products online, or the fake sweepstakes/lotteries, fake charities, etc.... (too many to list).

'Most' you say, so what about the people thinking they have won a lottery? The people who think they have met a new love on the internet and then get scammed out of all their money? What about the people who are thinking that they are making a contribution to a charity, while in fact there money goes to a scammer? You know, I don't really sympathise with the scammers (or with you, for that matter) and I really couldn't care less what humiliation we inflict upon them (actually I do, the more the better)

Erm, we actually bait anything that seems baitable. Like someone said before, we really don't care about where the scammer comes from. It just seems to be the case that there are far more African scammers than there are western scammers... (at least, in my mail box... and in surplus..) but we also bait Vlads (russian (romance) scammers) and scammers from other nationalities (really!)

We bait anyone who happens to send a scam letter to our e-mail address. We don't intentionally bait africans. It just so happens that most of the e-mails we receive are from Africa. If someone from Russia or France or anywhere sends us a scam e-mail we bait them too.

Baiters do bait pyramid scams, there are specific forums that deal with that sort of stuff, the CattyShaq forum use to fight pyramids, ponzis and hyips etc

Job scams are common, a lot of those come from places in Eastern Europe like Russia and Romania, we actively bait them, report their bank accounts, close down their fake job websites, so again, your arguement that we don't bait those scammers falls flat.

We bait scammers no matter where they come from, but if the majority of the scam emails come from Africa, then of course, mostly Africans will be baited, doesn't take a genius to work that out Rolling Eyes
