It'd also prevent the patient from being able to go out and earn money to pay the bill he's run up so far. I can't help but imagine the lad eventually being moved to the geriatrics ward before he can pay a penny toward his bill. What hospital is this, anyway? St. Shylock's?

It's kind of like debtor's prison used to be in England. They'd throw you in jail for debt and keep you until you paid off your debt...and you had to pay for your food and other necessities. Can't quite figure the logic of that...but I suppose it beat being transported to Australia. Very Happy
