This forum is great! I would love a chance to join you in making these scammers' lives hell! I just have a few questions, I know they are probably answered somewhere in the forum, which I looked over pretty thouroughly, but I must have missed a few things.

1. I signed a bunch of guestbooks with my e-mail address but am not getting anything. The 419'ers who try and contact me are getting my e-mail address from Career Builder (I think). I only get a few scammers a week and I want more. The tips section says to go to guestbooks, which I did; is there a certain guestbook that would be good for this? Any suggestions?

2. Alot of the posts on here show the corrospondence between the criminals and the people on here but don't show the originating address of the 419'er. I would like in. Is there a topic that has addresses of these scumbags? I want to bait some more people.

3. How do I find out where the e-mails are originating from? I don't know how to check IP's. But I am smart and if someone could tell me I'm sure I could do it.

That's about all for my questions. I am currently baiting one person- the hitman, but he is lazy. And does anyone know what "mard" means because thats what he called me.

Hi SC, Welcome to Eater! I am sure others will be along with more advice, but the first thing is, make sure you are baiting safe. If the scammers have contacted you via careerbuilder, than they probably have your real life info. If they do, please drop them right away.

Wait 'till harvest. Look back through the guestbook until you see an entry, in uppercase, which includes the word MUGU. This is a marker for the 'office boys'. They have taken every e-mail up to this point.

Google yourself. The boys know about us and can see if they are being baited if we put up too much info. You will also notice that w3 wr1t3e l1k3 th15 a l0t. This is also to prevent detection by Google.

im quite new to baiting, only about 6months and only used this site for days but I would say rather than looking for lots of Lads why not get a few that you can keep on the role
