Surprised no one else has posted about this, but I guess that reflects the international nature of this forum.
It's 20 years ago today since the UK's biggest sporting tragedy. Our memories go out to the families of the 96. You'll Never Walk Alone.

I was planning to B8er but you pipped me at the post.
As a lifelong Man U fan, actually from Manchester, my thoughts are with the families, friends and Liverpool FC.
I also remember the Bradford Fire which went out live on ITV as it unfolded. Equally distressing images. |

@Jay, saw clips of it on the news earlier and it looked very emotional.
They were saying that there were 25,000+ there, thats more than some of the Premiership clubs get on a Saturday afternoon. |

The Hillsborough disaster sticks in my mind along with the Bradford City fire disaster. Both eventually dragged English football ground facilities finally into the 20th century. Sadly, too many people had to pay the ultimate price.
My thoughts go out to all those that lost relatives at Hillsborough, Valley Parade and the Hysell Stadium. |
