I am a Medical phenomenon (of sorts) 20 years ago i had a high speed motorcycle accident that resulted in me being thrown from the bike and landing hands first on the road. It was assumed that i had landed on a small sharp stone as i had severed 2 tendons in the palm of my left hand from the wrist to my little and ring finger. After waking from a 90min op to try and reconstruct/join the damaged tendons i was told by the Surgeon that i would never ride a bike again as my damaged fingers now formed a 'claw'! I was devastated as riding motorbikes was my greatest pleasure. Within 6 weeks i was riding bikes again and i still ride to this day and have 100% use of my hand. No Claw, just a sweet looking scar.

Also recieved a civilian award from the Fire Brigade. Thats for another day as i do tend to go on a bit!! Laughing

Crashed bike was a Yamaha FZR 1000 Genesis.
Current bike a Kawasaki ZX10R 2006 - its mental and buggers up my pacemaker Laughing

its true - 4 out of 5 I could have written. but, I am divorced. now.

Our boat was in about three frames of the Clint Eastwood movie 'Absolute Power'.

When I was in college I once had a summer job counting mosquitoes.

Although I have a nice new car, I still prefer to ride my bicycle to work. That may not seem strange to people in Europe but where I live in the US it's thought of as rather eccentric, but I'm okay with that. Rolling Eyes
