This doesn't sound very scammish - sounds like the actual bank =o.

Could it be that the scammers stuck the real Scotia bank number on the bottom of the email? Because googling the number comes up with various job listings on real websites with that number on the bottom.

I must agree - it sounds ultra-professional, however that is of course the intention of the scammer - make it sound as good as possible, to hook the mugu in.

If you look at the scamwarners thread, you will see those job postings are the scam they are running...

This is a standard overseas job scam--offer the victim a job in another country, send vic to fake travel agency to set up the travel stuff, fake agency will charge visa fees, etc.

But that is a reminder for all that it is a good idea to do your homework before posting. I checked the contact numbers for scotia bank before I posted. They are all 800 numbers, not an 866 number in the batch. I also did a few searches for the 866 number--nothing comes up except for the job scams. If it were a number for a legitimate bank it would come up in a search somewhere other than those ads.

ETA:
If you look at the ads you find in google, you will see one of the two scammers' fake domains listed right in the ad. If you look at the real scotia bank's website, you will see their job openings, which do not include branch manager, in addition they have their own career center and would not need to be posting random ads all over the web.
