Scam. Go for it and see what he wants.

There is no such thing as the "online web directory." Also, note that he doesn't mention exactly what the last name is.

It's a pretty lazy first email for a lad to send out.

It's an advance fee fraud. Send a brief reply saying you're interested, and ask for further details.
Don't reply from a real life email address, read the stickies about safe baiting and ask for a mentor.

Welcome FBI! Don't get disappointed if he does not respond to you. A lot of times they do not respond. If that happens, just go into Surplus and pick up a few new ones.

Just make sure you are baiting safe!

well i kinda got it from ...fbi using google, i had to use something in relations to my nick so this was the best thing i found, hope i dont get in trouble

you said this came to your real life account - you want to get a new e-mail just for this with no personal real life details - gmail (google mail) is a good one, it strips out your IP address so they can't tell where you are...I believe fastmail and hotmail do the same thing but I'm not sure...

then respond to his e-mail from your new account - they send out so many letters they don't know the individual e-mails

if they ever ask you can always say it came to your work e-mail (don't tell them what work address be vague) so for security you'd rather use the xxx@google mail so you can respond at home...

Here are some things to make sure you do.

1) NEVER use personal information - Reply to the email from another account, make sure you don`t have your work addy on the email!

2) Get creative, think of someone that you want to be. Let the lad learn about your character slowly, then start showing more of the character. For example I have always wanted to be a race car driver - did that in a bait, I wanted to be King of Gondor - did that to.

3) Have fun!

Make sure you remember that you can never screw up. You are always right.

fastmail does, hotmail doesn't.

i like fastmail also because you can easily create alias' which are basically entire new email addresses that redirect to whereever you want. I liked this option so much i paid fastmail some hard earned cash to get the better one Laughing
