This mail dropped into my catcher account within 10 minutes of signing a mugu guestbook.

The Russians and Ukrainians are a totally different ball game to the Nigerian lads, and there far from stupid. Muck them around to much and they will simply drop you, Unless you can somehow do a lot of ground work and convince them that your genuine. They also take a lot longer to get Off Script, and they will only go off script, when there ready too. And quite often for reasons only they know there quite likely to revert to a script, for no other reason then they can.

She's still on script - I'd ask her about american politics, see what she thinks about our new president, the state of the economy...ask her about the political situation there (she did say she liked politics)...see if you can get an e-mail back responding to you...

Sounds for sure like a lad (admitting she's in Africa).

On a side note - lads have no idea what american camping is like - I always say I like camping & fishing knowing that they relate camping with refugee camps and fishing as a job, not a hobby...

They always tell me "I'll be happy doing anything with you"...

Of course it's a scam, I haven't doubt it when I saw first message. They always start with this they mention hiw they saw your profile and how they like you and they throw up their mail right away. This is nonsense, it too obvious why don't they get another approach, this one is already used up ....

So true, when I first started out I never really thought about trying for trophies, i figured if one came along it would be great but didn't really get my hopes up on one.

It's easy to think that the more experienced baiters can get trophies at will but it just isn't true, few people post their failed baits, only the successful ones but, for every successful bait, there may be another 20 without success.

Try straight baiting and look for opportunities as they arise, your main goal early should be to waste as much of their time as you can, that to me is as good as any trophy, the nice trophy on top is the bonus.

In all of the baits I have done, I have only ever had one take some photos for me, admittedly they were good photos but I have wasted countless hours of lad time, you know which I am more proud of?
