Can you please provide more detail of the scam?

I find it hard to believe a scammer would waste time scamming you out of your T-Shirt... Shocked

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but P@rcel D1rect isn't available anymore, but @llstar Shipping is for premium members. But to be honest, if you want the shipping modality to work, it'll take more than some tshirts to get him to travel. Now if you happen to ship the shirts lined with a few grand... Wink

I picked him up from surplus. Exact same initial email. He'll soon be dealing with Mr T and his shirt factory.

If I post the follow pn what should I do to make it google proof? Does the mask tag do that?

Thanks,

jlc

^^^ Yes, but the Mask feature puts a load on the server.
The load increases as you mask more characters, so only use it to mask the key words

He's claiming to being placing an order for T-shirts for a government ministry and wants a dozen samples.

So far, all I've done is say its been shipped and then a week later returned because they refused to sign for it. Now they're asking "sign for what?"

I doubt they'll do much but it's at least fun to screw with them. I may see if I can find D-H-L around here and dummy up a beat up package to send a picture.

I assume gmail masks headers for attachments as well?

I'm not sure what you mean by gmail masking attachments, but they do strip the IP from the email itself as long as you use the online interface.

How about this for a damaged box in the warehouse?

Thanks. A little PS to add my shipment sticker and it's good to go.

My concern is since the attachment is a d/l is their a way to find the originating IP from gmail.

As far as I'm aware, downloading images do not show any IP. Even if it did, it would point to California where the Google servers are located.
