Hello Eaters,
I'm looking to join in on some group baits to build up my skills a bit. If anyone has a bit part they'd like for someone to play I'm ready to take on a character to aid in a bait. I have quite a few of my own going, yet I'd really like to team up with someone for a bit of fun with the lads, PM me. I'm fully VOIP ready if you need some calls. |

I am too interested. I have two baits going right now. One solid one with a gold dust company and the other is a western union atm card. BTW: I am a newb also. |

You're both welcome to come and play over at the cheque massbait - read the whole thread and then start applying for his fake cheques using dept1 mailbox! |

I'm a total noob too but I've developed quite an elaborate ground plan with lots of characters - short, medium and several longer term baits all falling within a single storyline and around a primary character.
My concern is that I might loose my lad during the first short-term bait if it's not believable enough so I think I'm really going to need some baiters that have VIOP capabilities. (They're not available where I live or at least not in terms of obtaining believable international numbers and redirects). |

Don't plan too far ahead, baits never follow the path you imagine at the outset - some lads will fill forms, others will safari, others phone, others webcam, others nothing but demand money and whine like beaten puppies in the rain. If you have a range of accounts set up and are worried you'll get bored, bait more lads at the same time - keep it a simple straight bait at first then you can start experimenting with them at will later, once they're warmed up and off script.
There are no rules, but you find the more successful silly baits like NN's current carting one have come from lots of straight baits and long games |

What you also should realise is that the more audacious baits have been as a result or the 'survival of the stupidest' formula.
Send your initial standard reply to a large amount of lads, then increase the wackiness with each exchange. The less responsive lads will start to drop out, gradually siphoning off the unruly and stubborn ones. Before long you will be left with one or two prime crackpots ready to dance to your tune no matter how bizarre.
You may get one straight off the bat, but you have to be damn lucky. |

Actually, the whole bait is a straight bait. It's long and boring and I don't have any wacky characters. Everything is quite normal. He just happens to be a charity scammer who now trusts me explicitly. I've stuck to his script and modified his illusion to suit me. It's been a 4 month relationship, and I am far from done with him.
Don't get confused with the notion that a long bait means a straight bait. You make it what you want it to be. I'd spent over a year with one lad and every email was ridiculous. You are only limited by your imagination. On-script / off-script, it's all apples and oranges.
What manbiteslion is talking about is staying with your lad, his scam and modalities. That's a quintessential straight bait, but no less or more important than any other. It's a great way to learn the working of a scammer and how they operate.
Although if you want to talk about long baits, talk to firehouse5. He's had a lad on the hook for four years.
If you wish, we could set up a mass bait with some newer members and post it to watch it grow? |

Welcome to the new baiters!
Here is the link to the mass check bait that Manbaitslion mentioned. http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=158538 We really could use some more people to join in the fun. This guy is a tough one and needs some more attention. |

That wouldn't be the Gold Dust scam I posted in the Surplus forum would it? |
