I just cycled through several hundred mails sending out a little scripted response when a realized there was not a single letter from Mariam Abacha among them. She seems to have dropped off the radar in ladland. I had a standard insult that I used to use on her many times a week.
Maybe she finally got her millions transferred out of Nigeria (with someone's urgent assistance). |

I think Kofi Annan is the new Mariam Abacha - I get lots of emails from him these days, he is at a loose end since he retired from the UN, though Wikipedia doesn't know he now seems to be in charge of offering UN compensation to former scam victims. |

Charles S0ludo also crops up a lot as does the surname B3llo. Last time I used the Ab4cha name a lad wrote to me saying she was a scammer and pointing me to a web page "exposing" her. |

Dang! I had forgotten about her! I'm not hearing from Mohammed Abacha either!
Seems to me that this format has gone the way of the dinosaur. What I'm seeing a lot of is the "send $85 (or some other number) payment for your ATM card" format. I'm sure it has something to do with the economy. The lads have figured out it's easier to get $85 out of someone than it is $2500. |

She was a great script in my early days - I did a lot of practice/straight stuff on her.
I doubt Usm4n and Chucky will die out anytime soon though. I feel sorry for the real Charles. |

I'm talking with Mohammed Abacha and Miriams' barrister right now. Straight baiting as my retired soldier charachter (veteran of the 2nd Yorkshire Terriers - the original dog soldiers), lad has good english too which surprises me as Miriam is such an old format. |
