I'm not that young lol, I'm 22, got a really good job (choochoo give it away), I am at uni still for work but its all managable.

To the post above, I can't wait to the first day of school, first word, first everything and his/hers first bait (that ones gonna be a proud day)

You just wait. When he/she is screaming at 4am you'll be praying to be single again.

Seriously though, you might get lucky. Some babies only wake up once or twice a night and then sleep right through after only a month or two. My 3 month old goes to bed at 8pm and doesn't wake up until 9am and my other two were the same.

Congrats Frank. You're 22 and just starting, why'd ya wait so long Wink

Personally I think you'll be glad you started now (I was the almost the same age) as
A) college tuition will not coincide with retirement
B) your knee joints will allow you to keep up easier

Oh and your claim of 'bring on the sleepless nights'... we'll see about that when you still have to go to work the next day! Laughing

I'm more in support of being older. I was 30 when I had the first one.

A) You have done the adventure part of your life, and are ready to settle.
B) You are more financially stable.
C) You are more likely to have experience with other children (relatives e.t.c)
D) You will have more time to dedicate to children (i.e you are not training/studying)
E) More likely to have a stable home (ties in with B)

LOL, I'm up baiting till 3 and then up for work at 5am alot of the week.

I've explored what I want to see of the world, I've got a good sound Job with them paying for me to get a degree, I've got no family who care about me anyway (I actually consider you guys my family at times), Got a nice little house that I've got a mortgage on, As the lads say I am a made man.

I guess if I am honest I am scared, infact petrified that I'm going to be a bad dad or something.
