I looked in Surplus, but no luck. I'd really like to take up my unicorn-buying modality again, but I have no one to start on.

I just did a quick google and came up with several very likely relatively fresh starters...

Textbook scam ad:

This one uses photos I have seen in scams before (I remember the one with the necklace):

This one uses the same photos as multiple other classifieds throughout the country--no real breeder would be posting ads in all these places:

I am posting ads warning the fine folks that read these ads that they are scammer scumbags. I WOULD LOVE SOME HELP!! Please, if other folks could post warning ads, i would appreciate it. .

Would it be helpful to start a new thread warning about BESTADS.COM, and asking for help posting?

I have been unable to contact them. Their email addy's from Whois, all come back undeliverable. There is a phone number, but my guess is it falls on deaf ears.

I also found a lot of these scumbags ads on IVarta.com. Their people have been HELPFUL at removing the scummers ads, however.

Heya SRS, welcome on board.

Have to say that your post now looks like a big ad for that b3stads, and although your intentions may be good, i'm not clickying it... If you're posting warnings, that's nice, but isn't it a smarter way to alert mods to it, so they can throw out fishy ads? Else they might just consider you a nuisance instead of the help you want to be.

If you GOGGLE the Addy of that site with "SCAM" the ads i posted come up prominently.

I am asking for help to counter this shite: "she is cute and healthy and her feather is already treemed and i will be offering her because my new apartment does not permit her convienient so come and be some one to rehome her for free no charge "

I am posting these ads: "DO NOT BE AN IDIOT! THERE ARE NO FREE PETS. THESE ARE SCAMMERS in AFRICA! DO NOT SEND ANY $$$ (GOOGLE: " FREE PUPPY SCAM" NIGERIA)"

And, would ask that more folks post these ads, to keep them up top on GOOGLE.
I am not quite sure if you think i have nefarious intent, or what. I am trying to keep these scumbags from making any money. That's all. But, i am one person, and cannot post all day on these various free ad sites!
