How do I know if a guestbook signed by a mugu+guyman is active? I've signed a few, and been really nice "nice site!" or "I really like your sweaters" (I *do* like aran sweaters). I tried to sign books that I saw had been recently signed by a mugu or guyman(guymen) in the year 2009. Is this necessary, or do they have access to the emails after they post?

It works slightly differently - you sign a guestbook "nice site" or whatever and make sure you put your email address so it can be publicly read - lads use spiders to find anything that looks like an email address by scouring the internet automagically, they have no more access to the back-ends of the guestbooks than you or I.

Also, try visiting the surplus forum and answering a few of those emails or signing up for the shuttle (see stickIes)

I would create an address just for catching mugus. It can get pretty messy when you use a baiting address for the guestbook signup or shuttle service.
