There are a whole new wave of employment scams. Two I know of right now are the British Petroleum jobs and Ausose Recruitment scam. For $950.00 US they will process your application for a job that pays $15500 per month, in Accra Ghana. I just came back from Accra, Ghana and this is a scam.

HI.

Was this post supposed to be a reply to an existing thread?

If not, I'm not seeing what your comment has to do with the website.

I'm not offended.

What is fraudulent about the site that you posted?

Edit: He will the same response at SW, Craig.

I think he means this particular page on his site about scams:

http://www.officialroadwarrior.com/The_Scammers.php

The rest of the site is nothing to do with scamming, would be better to copy and past the text from that page here instead, rather than linking to it, part of which says:

MAJOR THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR !!!

Legitimate companies have email addresses that belong to their company web sites.... @ABC.com NOT free email accounts like gmail and yahoo.

Not entirely true, many scammers buy domain names and set up fake employment websites where they send and reply to emails using their [email protected]

So what you are saying is that it's ok if people receive job emails from email addresses that match a website domain name they claim to be emailing from, sorry, but that's a dangerous assumption to make!

If you are asked to call a number that begins with 442 or the like....these are pay phone prefixes in the UK.

Can you explain more about the 442 numbers, please? Do you mean the number begins with 442, or is the 44 the international dialling code prefix that replaces the 0 in your example, as in, if I called the number from within the UK, it would start 02, only +44xxxxx if calling from overseas.

Do you have an example of a full 442 number you can post here for us to look at, because as far as I'm aware, UK payphones do not begin with 442, public payphones have numbers with local area codes matching private houses in the same area, some examples of UK public payphones:
